Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 5, 2026
1. Who Is Responsible
Magic Coloring Adventure is published by Georgi Boyadzhiev, acting as an individual (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). For the limited personal data we actually receive, the Developer is the data controller.
Contact us at gbindie.dev+support@gmail.com. Email is the official and preferred contact channel.
2. Scope
This Policy covers the Magic Coloring Adventure app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, its in-app purchases, support communications, and these legal pages.
3. The Short Version
Magic Coloring Adventure does not require an account. It never asks for a name, an email address, a date of birth, or any other personal detail, and it does not collect, store, or transmit personal data about the person using it.
The app contains no advertising, no advertising network, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no tracking. We do not build profiles, we do not sell or share personal data, and nothing in the app identifies a child.
4. What the App Keeps on the Device
Everything the app remembers stays on the device:
- Coloring progress — which pages have been colored, and the colors used
- Settings — sound and haptics preferences, and the chosen language
- Purchase status — which book packs have been unlocked
This information lives in the app’s own storage on the device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see, recover, or delete it. Removing the app removes it, subject to any device or cloud backup configured with Apple or Google under their own terms.
5. Saving Pictures to the Device
A finished picture can be saved to the device’s photo library. The operating system asks for permission the first time, and that permission can be refused then or withdrawn later in the device settings.
The app only adds a picture. It does not read, browse, or delete anything already in the photo library.
Once a picture is saved, it is an ordinary photo on the device, handled by the operating system and by whatever backup or sync is enabled — for example iCloud Photos or Google Photos — under Apple’s or Google’s terms rather than ours. A saved picture leaves the device only if someone chooses to share it.
6. What the App Does Not Do
To be explicit, Magic Coloring Adventure does not:
- ask for or accept a name, email address, age, photo, or any other personal detail
- include chat, comments, profiles, accounts, or any social feature
- use the microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, or location
- show advertising of any kind, or link to advertising
- allow open web browsing — the in-app viewer used for these legal pages accepts this legal website only, blocks every other address, and runs with JavaScript disabled
7. Children’s Privacy
Magic Coloring Adventure is made for children and is built so that a child cannot disclose personal data through it. Because no personal data is collected from any user, there is nothing that requires verifiable parental consent under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Article 8 of the GDPR, or comparable laws.
Purchases and settings sit behind a parental gate: a deliberate press-and-hold action intended for an adult rather than a young child. It is a reasonable safeguard, not a guarantee. We recommend also using the device’s own controls — Screen Time and purchase restrictions on iOS, or Google Family Link and purchase authentication on Android.
If you believe a child has sent us personal data — for example by emailing support — contact us and we will delete it.
8. In-App Purchases
Book packs are one-time purchases handled entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, depending on where the app was installed. The store processes the payment, the payment method, taxes, and any refund. We never receive card, bank, or account details.
To unlock the right books, the app asks the store whether a purchase belongs to the current store account. That check happens on the device. Apple and Google may give us aggregate sales figures and the information needed to resolve a purchase problem.
Apple’s and Google’s handling of purchases is described in the Apple App Store privacy information and the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
9. Information We Receive Directly
The only way we receive personal data is if you write to us.
If you email support, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to attach, such as a screenshot or device and app details. We use it to answer you, to fix problems, and to meet legal obligations. Depending on the request, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in supporting and securing the app, steps related to our agreement with you, compliance with law, or your consent where required.
Please write as the adult, not the child, and include no more personal information than the question needs. Support correspondence and any necessary notes are normally deleted within six months after the case is resolved, unless a longer period is required by law or reasonably necessary for an active dispute or legal claim.
10. These Legal Pages
These pages are hosted with GitHub Pages. GitHub states that a visitor’s IP address is logged and stored for security purposes, and processes that data under its own privacy terms. This applies whether the pages are opened in a browser or inside the app’s legal viewer.
Support email is provided through Google, which may process email metadata and content to deliver that service under the Google Privacy Policy.
11. Recipients and International Transfers
We do not sell personal data. Personal data you send to support may be processed by Google as our email provider and, where necessary, by professional advisers or public authorities. Apple and Google process store activity, and GitHub hosts these legal pages.
Apple, Google, and GitHub may process data outside your country. Their own privacy notices describe their locations and transfer safeguards. We disclose support data to anyone else only where necessary for the purposes above or required by law.
12. Security
We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures to the data we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Because coloring progress and saved pictures live on the device, protecting the device itself — a passcode, current software, and appropriate child controls — is the most effective safeguard.
13. Your Rights
Data kept by the app is controlled directly on the device: settings can be changed in the app, photo permission can be withdrawn in the device settings, saved pictures can be deleted in the photo library, and removing the app removes its local storage.
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies to personal data we hold — in practice, support correspondence — you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some rights depend on the circumstances and on legal exceptions. Write to the email address above; we may need reasonable information to locate your request.
Because we never receive the app’s local data, a support request cannot retrieve, change, or erase coloring progress or pictures held only on a device.
You may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or with the supervisory authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice through an app update, a one-time in-app notice, or another appropriate channel before or when the change takes effect, and will request consent where the law requires it. Minor corrections may be reflected by updating the date above.
15. Contact
Privacy questions and rights requests should be sent to gbindie.dev+support@gmail.com.
